Most roles at Convoso function as “hybrid” with some opportunities for travel to in-person business events and company meetings. For remote positions, Convoso’s U.S. hiring is open to candidates who are residents of the following states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MA, MI, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, PA, SC, TX, UT, VA. Candidates in the PST time zone preferred.

The Job:

We are seeking a Platform Product Manager to be directly responsible for the success of Convoso’s core platform products, act as the voice of the market and the customer, and identify opportunities to evolve Convoso’s product offering to solve better real-world challenges, increasing customer satisfaction, and driving growth and profitability.

You will work cross-functionally across development, DevOps, engineering leadership, and customer-facing teams to make our platform future-proof. Act as the voice of the market and the customer, collaborating closely with Product leadership on feature prioritization, and the product roadmap that increases customer satisfaction and drives growth and profitability.

You will have a keen sense of technical acumen in order to envision the evolution of the Convoso platform that will enable and accelerate the integration into partner ecosystems in order to scale and expand. Ability to communicate easily and effortlessly with engineering teams on ideation, conceptualization, execution, testing, and improvement of the core platform is a must.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Vision & Strategy: Lead the strategic vision for the evolution of Convoso’s core platform along with the expansion into partner ecosystems via an API driven roadmap.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop strong relationships with internal teams (Engineering, Partnerships, DevOps) and external stakeholders (customers, partners).
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with teams to deliver scalable technical solutions, ensuring client stability and reliability.
  • API Expertise: Serve as the expert on our API Partner Platform, advocating for industry best practices and scaling via integrations.
  • Simplification of Complexity: Translate complex technical requirements into clear product features delivering specific business and customer values for diverse audiences.
  • Customer Advocacy: Represent customer needs to ensure user-friendly API Platform features.
  • Product Roadmap & Execution: Define and prioritize the technical product roadmap based on market needs, customer feedback, and business value.

Who You Are:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering.
  • Product Management Experience: 5 - 10 years in product management, focusing on modern B2B SaaS solutions, preferably in CCaaS, Lead Generation, or Customer Experience (CX) industries.
  • Technical Experience: 5+ years of experience in a software engineering or development role, ideally within CCaaS, UCaaS, or other CX platforms with a dialer component.
  • Platform Proficiency: Experience building and evolving core platforms and API integrations is required; familiarity with Call Tracking/Routing Platforms and real-time Revenue Execution Platforms is preferred.
  • Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to engage directly with architects and engineers to ensure that solutions meet both business needs and technical specifications.
  • Agile Methodologies Expertise: Deep understanding and proven experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Strong focus on customer needs, with a track record of successful interactions and relationship building.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A passion for resourceful and innovative problem-solving, with a holistic approach that considers the end-to-end user experience and overall functionality.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to foster constructive and collaborative relationships with engineers, product designers, and company executives.
  • Multitasking Abilities: Capability to manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: The base salary range is: $145,000 - 160,000.

The Base Pay Range for this position is based on the industry benchmark for position, function, level and the company’s compensation strategies. However, final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other objective business. Convoso’s compensation package also includes equity for all eligible U.S full time roles and exceptional benefits, including generous 401k match.
