Job Summary

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be working on our infrastructure automation, continuous delivery, observability, and security. You’ll achieve this by leveraging your expertise in AWS, infrastructure as code with Terraform, and container orchestration with Kubernetes. You’ll foster a culture of teamwork while making sound technical decisions to propel our cloud adoption strategy, working hand-in-hand with software engineering, architecture, and information security teams.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Design, develop, and implement automated solutions for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform;

  • Architect and implement robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using industry best practices;

  • Manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance;

  • Implement and maintain container orchestration using Kubernetes for efficient application management;

  • Design and implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues;

  • Collaborate closely with development, security, and architecture teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery;

  • Champion DevOps best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement;

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and DevOps trends.

Essential Skills

  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer or a related role;

  • Experience with AWS cloud platform services (AWS certifications are a plus);

  • Expert knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform;

  • Solid understanding of container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes;

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Github Actions, ArgoCD);

  • Strong scripting skills (Python);

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Datadog);

  • Ability to make sound technical decisions and work independently.
