What will you be doing?

We’re seeking a talented individual to join our team in Bristol. As anΒ Associate Financial Planning Bestinvest Coach & Team Leader,Β you’ll be supporting both existing and prospective clients. You will educate clients on key concepts, such as goal setting, account structure, taxation, risk, and investment choices. With your input, clients will feel more empowered to make decisions for themselves to reach their goals. For those clients who feel more than coaching is required or have more highly detailed needs, you’ll identify opportunities to refer into our Evelyn Partners Financial planning and Investment management colleagues.

As Associate Financial Planning Bestinvest Coach & Team Leader, your responsibilities will include among others:

Coaching responsibilities:

  • Contacting referred clients/prospects within agreed Service Levels Agreement to arrange a suitable appointment.
  • Coaching both existing and prospective clients on a wide range of financial planning and investment topics, ensuring completion of all relevant Continued Professional Development, to develop knowledge and skills to be able to provide technical support to clients and colleagues

Team Head responsibilities:

  • Line management of the coaching team members, complete mid and year end appraisals and update and monitor coaches KPI’s
  • Manage the teams MI for management reporting

T&C Supervisor responsibilities:

  • Lead the 4 week training programme for new joiners, ensure all mandatory learning is completed on time, complete monthly call observations and provide the coaches feedback
  • Ensure CPD is on track and review/audit at year end

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (Dip PFS) or equivalent
  • The ability to operate in a client facing role, gathering both soft and hard facts through a combination of open and closed questions, whilst remaining personable
  • Technical knowledge and the ability to communicate a wide range of holistic financial planning topics
  • Versatility, to amend your approach when communicating to different types of clients, from those who are new to investing to more financially sophisticated clients
  • Building internal relationships with colleagues, creating a network of contact points to offer a collaborative way of working to enhance client experience
  • A combination of communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, alongside qualities like empathy, problem-solving, and integrity that make a great Team Leader
