Job Description
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play an important role in a dynamic, collaborative, and high-performing team. You will help ensure the delivery of high-quality software by guiding test automation, participating in the development lifecycle, and promoting a culture of quality across the organization.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure Product Quality.
- Validate that the product meets defined acceptance criteria and quality standards through comprehensive testingโ automated.
- Contribute to the Definition of Done (DoD).
- Early Involvement in Requirements.
- Participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning to identify ambiguities, edge cases, and test scenarios early in the development cycle, improving clarity and reducing rework.
- Test Automation & CI/CD Integration.
- Design automated test suites. Integrate these into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable, and repeatable deployments.
- Champion a Quality-First Mindset.
- Promote best practices in testing and quality assurance. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to improve the development process.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in software QA, with a focus on test automation and CI/CD.
- Experience with QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Java).
- Experience with performance, security, and API testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Test Automation: Experience with tools like Cypress.
- API Testing: Using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST-assured.
- Database Knowledge: Ability to write and understand SQL queries for data validation.
- Performance Testing: Experience with tools like JMeter.
- Experience with Agile methodologies
