Associate eLearning Developer

We are seeking an early career eLearning Developer to join our Client Services Technical Enablement team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating technical concepts into clear, engaging, and scalable learning experiences. You will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), instructional designers, and cross-functional partners to develop eLearning content that supports internal teams in a fast-paced, technical environment.

This is a hands-on role focused on content development, learning technology, and continuous improvement. You do not need prior engineering experience, but you should be comfortable learning technical concepts and using modern authoring and content management tools.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality eLearning content, including interactive modules, simulations, and assessments

  • Translate technical documentation, product features, and workflows into learner-friendly instructional content

  • Partner with SMEs to gather requirements, validate technical accuracy, and iterate on learning materials

  • Build content using eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Domiknow, Articulate Rise/Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar)

  • Apply instructional design best practices to ensure content is engaging, accessible, and effective

  • Edit and update existing courses to reflect product changes, feedback, or performance data

  • Follow established content standards, templates, and development processes

  • Assist with basic learning analytics and content performance tracking

  • You quickly ramp on technical concepts and apply them to learning content

  • Courses are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and receive positive learner feedback

  • Stakeholders trust you to translate complex information into effective training and implement feedback quickly and accurately

  • You continuously improve your skills in instructional design, tooling, and technical knowledge

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–3 years of experience in eLearning development, instructional design, technical training, or a related field (internships, coursework, or portfolio work welcome)

  • Experience creating digital learning content using at least one modern authoring tool (professional or academic experience)

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly

  • Comfort working with technical material (software products, systems, workflows, APIs, or similar)

  • Basic understanding of instructional design principles (adult learning theory, learning objectives, assessments)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and products with a strong drive for self-directed learning

We’ll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these:

  • Familiarity with LMS platforms

  • Experience creating video or multimedia content (screen recordings, light video editing, audio cleanup)

  • Exposure to Agile, product development, or technical enablement environments

  • Portfolio or examples of eLearning, training materials, or instructional projects

Tools & Technologies You May Use

  • eLearning authoring tools (Domiknow)

  • Video and audio tools (Camtasia, Loom,Google Vids, or similar)

  • Learning Management Systems (Skilljar)

  • Documentation tools (Confluence, Google Docs)

  • Project management and service tools (Jira, Salesforce)

Work Hours:

  • This position will require you to work during scheduled hours from 2 pm - 11 pm (IST)

Work Location(s) & Travel Requirements:

This position is a hybrid role and open to candidates residing in the following locations: Pune, India

This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.

Salary: 16-19 lakh

Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
