Our Supply Chain team in Amsterdam is looking for an enthusiastic Supply Chain Manager. At Flink we are ensuring customers can always find their favorite products by managing the journey from our suppliers to our shelves. As a Supply Chain Manager, you are responsible for optimizing the end-to-end flow of goods, driving availability, optimizing our logistics & operations and acting as the bridge between our commercial department, suppliers and the operation in our hubs.
Job Description
- Supplier Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact for key suppliers. You will monitor performance (OTIFIQ), resolve inbound discrepancies, and drive continuous improvement in supplier reliability.
- Third party logistics management: Actively manage our relationship with the third party logistics provider that handles our warehousing and transportation setup towards all hubs.
- Availability: Take ownership of supplier fill rates & manage promotions together with internal and external stakeholders
- Safeguard Product Quality: Champion freshness and quality standards. You will analyze rejection data, use this to drive improvements with our suppliers and implement processes to minimize waste across our hubs.
- Processes: Identify manual, repetitive tasks in our supply chain processes and build scalable solutions.
- Partner with Operations: Collaborate closely with our hub operations teams, get their first hand feedback on challenges with our inbound deliveries and products. Use these insights to drive structural improvements with suppliers and the relevant internal tech teams.
Qualifications
We are looking for an analytical self-starter who thrives in a high-paced environment. You generally have 1-4 years of relevant work experience.
- Relevant Experience: You have a Master’s degree and 1–4 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Retail Operations, or FMCG. Experience in a fast-paced retail or e-commerce environment is a strong plus.
- Data-Driven Mindset: You are highly analytical and comfortable working with large datasets. You have advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and strong SQL proficiency to query data independently.
- Automation Enthusiasm: You have a passion for efficiency. First experience with building automations is a plus.
- Structured & Resilient: You create clarity out of chaos. You have a structured way of working, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively when things move fast.
- Project Management Skills: You have a proven track record of taking ownership of projects from concept to implementation, capable of managing timelines and multiple stakeholders.
- Communication: You are fluent in English, proficiency in Dutch is a plus for communicating with local suppliers
