Analyst (Esports)
Can you spot patterns, anomalies, and inefficiencies in the market with precision?

Support modelling and trading teams by analysing esports match data and market behaviour to improve odds accuracy and operational decisions, as well as performance monitoring for GRID’s esports betting products across multiple titles.
Requirements
What you will do
Conduct statistical analysis of esports match data and betting market behavior
Support validation and monitoring of odds models and pricing outputs
Identify patterns, anomalies, and inefficiencies in markets
Perform P&L analysis and variance investigations for trading operations
Prepare datasets and insights for traders and product teams
Analyze competitor offerings and market positioning
Assist with ad-hoc analytical requests from traders and management
Your skills will include
2+ years of experience in sports betting, trading, or quantitative analysis
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or related field
Proficiency in statistical analysis and data manipulation
Strong understanding of probability theory and betting markets
Experience with SQL and at least one programming language (Python/R preferred)
Ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights
Nice to have
Interest in competitive gaming and esports ecosystems
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and applications
Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
