This team is at the forefront of our digital transformation, ensuring the seamless operation and continuous improvement of critical automation capabilities across WPP globally.

You will play a crucial role in solution delivery and day-to-day technology management of the Global Automation Operations Centre (AOC) program. Reporting to the AI & Automation Product Manager and AAI Team Lead, you will be in charge of a dedicated crew of developers and testers delivering our existing automation products to new markets. You will ensure that product implementations are configured, adapted, and extended to meet local needs while maintaining global standards.

The AOC is chartered to develop and delivery automation products, support global automation products or projects delivered by Automation delivery teams from around WPP. Our support apparatus gives those teams confidence and freedom to hand over their existing successes and continue innovating.

Are you a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for technology and a strong desire to lead successful product rollouts?

We are looking for an Implementation Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone with 3-4 years of experience who is ready to take the lead in delivering automation solutions to diverse markets. You will coordinate closely with local business and technical stakeholders to ensure our global automation processes are implemented with speed, precision, and high quality.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Implementation Leadership: Lead a small crew of developers and testers to configure, adapt, extend, and implement existing automation products for specific market rollouts.

  • Sprint & Timeline Tracking: Maintain rigorous oversight of project timelines and sprint progress, ensuring sprint plans, and deviations, are understood and documented.
  • Communication Management: Provide clear and timely updates to all stakeholders, managing expectations and highlighting potential risks to the Product Manager.
  • Requirement Translation: Translate local business needs into technical specifications for the development team while ensuring alignment with core product architecture.
  • Quality Assurance Oversight: Coordinate with testers to ensure that market-specific configurations meet our global performance and security standards before launch.
  • Documentation Contribution: Assist in maintaining and updating implementation runbooks and knowledge base articles based on local deployment experiences.
  • Adherence to Procedures: Strictly follow established operational procedures, security policies, and incident management protocols within the AOC framework.
  • Performance Reporting: Gather and report on implementation metrics, contributing to the continuous improvement of our global rollout strategy.

What you’ll need:

  • Overall experience: 3-4 years of experience in technical project coordination, implementation management, or a related technical operations role.
  • Agile Methodology: Experience working within Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and a solid history of managing of sprint-based delivery.
  • Technical Literacy: Proven understanding of Automation and AI concepts; experience with Power Platform or Dynamics 365 (D365) is a significant plus.
  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with Finance or HR back-office systems and business processes is highly desirable.
  • Technical Tooling: Proficiency in using project management and sprint tracking tools such as Jira, Wrike, or MS Planner.
  • Effective Communicator: Excellent writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to navigate both business and technical discussions.
  • Problem-solving: Proven experience dealing with technical blockers and finding pragmatic solutions for local implementation challenges.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in documentation and timeline management.
  • Global Mindset: Comfortable working across different cultures and time zones to support our global expansion.
  • Proactive Attitude: Strong desire to learn new automation technologies and take ownership of implementation success.
  • Mandatory Certifications
    • PL-900: Microsoft Certified Power Platform Fundamentals
  • Preferred Certifications:
    • PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Certified Agile Coach (ICAgile Certified Professional must be achieved within the first 3 months of hire if no equivalent)
