OVERVIEW: The Head of Business Analytics role is designed for someone who has a passion for driving business strategy and insights through data analytics and visualization tools. The ideal candidate will develop and integrate data from different applications through a new Business Intelligence Tool to enable us to drive business results. This individual will work with Head quarter in London for integration of Power BI financial reporting, develop in conjunction with CFO and Financial Planning, new reports to measure Wholesale doors and Stores’ performance.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Own and lead the design and integration of Kering Beauté’ s applications of sales, operations, and finance data systems via a new Business Intelligence tool (such as Power BI).
Define, create, and document the Master Data hierarchy and Data Governance Framework.
Scope BI Tool project, source technical solutions, manage roadmap for deployment by determining priorities and proposing enhancements of the BI Tool including collaborating with CFO.
Lead ongoing development of Business Intelligence Tool to ensure proper user access and report permissions.
Own the integration of Kering Beauté’ s master data between systems and define reporting needs in order to drive business insights.
Actively manage and optimize reporting and data needs of business.
Build deep understanding of internal business specificities through partnership with subject matter experts and key stakeholders.
Proactively identify opportunities for further improvement of the Data Framework.
Manage Business Intelligence tool onboarding budget and any ongoing related expenses.
Create and oversee training and best practice documentation covering usage of published reports and technical explanations to facilitate end user training at key moments in product lifecycle as well as new hire onboardings.
Research and apply industry best practices to continuously improve technical aspects of data loading and modeling to cope with the scaling of datasets and other requirements.
CORE REQUIREMENTS
A university degree in computer sciences or comparable disciplines, ideally with a focus on Data & Analytics or Business Management
A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in the field of responsibility
Experience with Business Intelligence Tools, Microsoft BI, Microsoft Azure, API mapping, JavaScript, JSON technologies for API integration
Ability to manage initiatives across teams and locations
Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities
Excellent organizational skills and ability maintain composure under pressure
Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment while being adaptable to change
