Job Description
Overall Purpose of Job:
This position functions as part of a technical support team, offering assistance and consultation on configuration, setup, networking, preventive maintenance, security, troubleshooting, procurement, inventory management, and repair of endpoint technologies. These technologies include, but are not limited to, desktop and laptop computers, smartphones, and printers, email and calendaring systems, and line-of-business applications. The role also involves documenting solutions as needed and tracking all incidents using Ticketing system.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced support for end-users onsite and remotely (in-person, phone, email, remote desktop).
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware/software issues; escalate complex problems as needed.
- Deploy, configure, maintain, and secure endpoint devices and software (antivirus, encryption).
- Support Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) on endpoint devices.
- Lead training sessions for new team members and contribute to the IT knowledge base.
- Document ticket resolutions and collaborate with IT/security teams for seamless operations.
Reporting & Interaction:
- Reports to: Endpoint Workplace Team Leader.
- Works closely with: Internal teams and external partners, vendors, or institutions as required.
- Receives assignments from the Group Leader/ticketing system; submits weekly and monthly reports.
Job Responsibilities & Accountability:
- Responsible for safeguarding company equipment and meeting deadlines.

- Accountable for work quality, compliance, equipment condition, and professional conduct.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Systems, Informatics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a relevant specialty.
- Strong proficiency in endpoint workplace technologies, including:
- Microsoft 365 (M365), Windows, and Office suite
- Active Directory, Group Policies, and client management software
- Mobile Device Management (MDM), Windows Deployment Services (WDS), and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- VPN management
- Endpoint security solutions such as encryption, antivirus, and email security
- Solid experience in supporting and administering Microsoft 365 environments, including:
- Managing users, access, and licenses in M365
- Familiarity with Intune or similar endpoint management tools
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German is an advantage
