Your Role:
The Miami office of Kubicki Draper is currently seeking a Construction Litigation Paralegal, with three or more years of prior Insurance Defense experience. Background in civil litigation, construction defect, and/or general liability, a plus.
What You Bring:
- Prior experience in insurance defense litigation and/or general liability, preferred.
- Ability to manage document-intensive cases, from inception through trial.
- Prior experience working with multi-party cases; conducting legal research and file prep.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills needed.
- Competent in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe & Excel.
- Working knowledge of Florida Court procedures preferred.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Support attorneys with all aspects of construction litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and case management.
- Draft, review, and organize pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and track important deadlines.
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and counsel effectively in a team environment.
- Must be task orientated.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced friendly environment.
