Our tech team

The Tech, Data, and Product team comprises 70+ people from diverse backgrounds, working in our offices in Nantes, Paris, and Barcelona. Our products are developed thanks to six autonomous product Teams, each working on a specific business domain. The teams are led by a Product Manager and Engineer manager working with a dedicated small team of developers (from 4 to 8)

We are organised in Product teams, focused on a domain of the global platform. As the lead for the Public Data Acquisition team, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution, driving the development and evolution of:

- the public data collection: all activities related to crawling, scraping, and preprocessing data from external e-commerce websites. It also includes handling anti-blocking mechanisms and ensuring data quality for ingestion.

- the product matching: responsible for automatically matching customer products with data collected from e-commerce sites. It includes logic for suggesting matches and validation systems where customers confirm or decline matches.

โŒจ๏ธ Your main tasks would be as follows :

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and inspire our talented team of software engineers. You will play a critical role in driving the development of our cutting-edge products, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact projects. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful challenges in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of engineers (4 to 8) to achieve their best performance.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide architectural and design leadership, ensuring technical excellence and scalability.
  • Hands-on senior software engineering, you are also able to code part of your time (20-40%)
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are on time and within scope.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and QA, to define and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Recruitment & Retention: Identify hiring needs, participate in recruiting efforts, and foster a culture that attracts and retains top talent.
  • Continuous improvements & process optimization: Implement and refine engineering processes, tools, and best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Team roadmap: in collaboration with your Team Product Manager, you will build the quarterly roadmap of the team

๐Ÿน We are looking for someone with the following experiences and skills:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in engineering management or a similar leadership role in a SaaS or e-commerce-focused organization.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development and system design.
  • You have one or more experiences (3+ years) in PHP (ideally Symfony).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and develop engineering teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time.
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and modern engineering practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, you speak English and Spanish.
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a focus on driving business impact through engineering excellence.
  • You are comfortable with both Cloud and On-premise environments
