Our client, a leading investor in leisure hotels across Southern Europe, is seeking an Accountant to join their Finance Team. The ideal candidate has a solid accounting background gained in a structured, multinational or large corporate environment and is looking to further develop within an international finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Post and process accounting entries and support all general ledger activities.
Perform supplier reconciliations and monitor outstanding balances.
Handle and reconcile banking transactions (bank reconciliations).
Manage supplier payments.
Support compliance with tax obligations (Payroll tax, VAT, and other periodic filings).
Maintain and update records through the myDATA platform.
Utilize SAP for all relevant accounting operations.
Prepare and deliver reporting to the Senior Accountant.
6–7 years of professional experience within a multinational environment, audit firm, or large organization.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in SAP (must-have).
Excellent command of the English language (written & spoken).
Solid understanding of general accounting principles and processes.
Experience with bank reconciliations, supplier processes, and tax obligations.
Familiarity with myDATA.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a structured environment.
