We are seeking a Senior Application Developer to join the IT team and play a key role in the design, development, and enhancement of in-house software applications. This role will gradually take ownership of application development initiatives and contribute to improved user experience, system performance, and overall business productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, deploy, and support in-house applications and systems.
Produce clean, scalable, and maintainable code using .NET languages (C#, VB.NET).
Enhance and optimize existing custom applications and internal tools.
Integrate data from various internal and external databases, APIs, and services.
Provide technical support for web, desktop, or mobile applications when required.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive software documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer.
Proficiency in at least one .NET language (C#, VB.NET) and solid knowledge of HTML5/CSS3.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented principles and software design patterns.
Excellent SQL skills, with experience in MS SQL Server and Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
Familiarity with architecture styles and APIs (REST, RPC).
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to code quality.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, and master modern technologies.
Experience in the Banking or Finance sector will be considered a strong asset.
