Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst (Agile/Scrum) to join our digital transformation team. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between the Business Analytics & Insights (BAI) team and various business stakeholders, helping define, document, and deliver high-impact digital solutions including descriptive analytics, predictive insights, and AI/ML capabilities within the manufacturing domain.

You will play a critical role in Agile project scoping, requirements analysis, and user story development, ensuring alignment between technical teams and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Agile Practice & Team Collaboration:

  • Work in a continuous delivery mode, analyzing, testing, and delivering features iteratively.
  • Demonstrate Agile and Lean principles to ensure effective and efficient delivery.
  • Act as a facilitator within the Agile team structure, collaborating with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Developers, Architects, and Stakeholders.

Requirement Elicitation & User Story Management:

  • Collaborate with Business Relationship Managers and Product Owners to define project scope and requirements.
  • Create, refine, and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and test cases.
  • Assist with backlog grooming, sprint planning, and user story prioritization.
  • Facilitate discussions on story sizing, sprint readiness, and technical breakdowns.
  • Work with stakeholders and QA to validate requirements and ensure delivery meets business expectations.
  • Guide teams through Agile ceremonies, ensuring clarity of roles, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Mentor junior Business Analysts as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Agile Business Intelligence or Data Analytics environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, process modeling, and documentation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, project management methodologies, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with tools like Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Experience facilitating meetings and workshops at various organizational levels.
