Job Description
NBCUniversal is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manager, Residuals to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely residual payments while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Labor, Production Finance, and Business Affairs. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical, technical, and communication skills with a deep understanding of residuals and guild-related processes.
Responsibilities
- Plan, forecast, and initiate monthly and quarterly residual payments.
- Extract, analyze, and interpret complex data sets from the Paris system and BI tools to generate reports and insights for Finance, Business Affairs, and Labor Relations.
- Coordinate with the Cash Planning team on weekly residuals payouts.
- Review and approve U.S. and international residual payments across major guilds (e.g., Equity, UBCP, ACTRA, MEAA).
- Support internal and external audit requests, including guild audits.
- Collaborate with guilds to resolve claims and escalate issues as needed.
- Lead and participate in testing and implementation of ERP and Residuals system enhancements.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of related industry experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Solid understanding of residuals and collective bargaining agreements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience inBI tools, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI) a plus.
- Proven ability to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to support critical decision-making.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with precision.
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
