Webnyay is looking for experienced Engineering Developers to join our leadership team and take

ownership of building and scaling intelligent systems for Generative AI for Legal and Online Dispute

Resolution (ODR). This role will combine hands-on coding with technical leadership, guiding a team

of engineers in developing production-grade pipelines and scalable web applications.

As a backend developer, you will be responsible for architecting solutions, mentoring team members,

ensuring code quality, and coding robust backend systems. Preferably, you will have some DevOps

experience best practices to manage deployment, scalability, and performance of our systems.

What we are looking for:

• At least 2 years of professional software development experience.

• At least 2 years of experience with Python. We use Fast API and Django so some experience

will be helpful.

• Experience with multiple databases (relational, vector and non-relational).

• Familiar with continuous integration and other automations.

• Focus on code quality and writing scalable code.

• Ability to learn and adopt new technologies depending on business requirements

• Prior startup experience will be a plus!

Some of your responsibilities would include:

• Work closely in a highly AGILE environment with a team of engineers.

• Create and maintain technical documentation of technical design and solution

• Build product / features that are highly scalable, secure, high-available, high performing and

cost-effective.

• Help team in debugging and perform code reviews.

• Understand the full feature set/ implementation and architecture of the applications.

• Make performance related recommendations, and identify and eliminate performance

bottlenecks (hardware, software, configuration); drive performance tuning, re-design and re-

factoring.

• Lead and participate in the software development lifecycle, which includes research, new

development, modification, security, reuse, re-engineering and maintenance.
