development with an average of four (4) new titles per month and over two hundred (200) titles
collectively - including Virtual Sports, Table Games, Slots, Instant Win and Multiplayer games in the

The Position
As a member of the Maths Team, the successful candidate will be involved in the production,
maintenance and data analysis of online and retail slot games – with tasks including (but not
limited to) developing original concepts, running Monte Carlo simulations and playtesting games
with an internal demo engine.
You will liaise with a variety of other internal teams. Primarily, working with the Back/Front-end
teams during a games development, then later with the Data/Operations team after the initial
release to help maintain and review games on the market.
On a day-to-day, your responsibilities may include monitoring existing products, internal
playtesting/review of current projects. Additionally, you may have to creating a tool in Java/Python
or solve a complex mathematical problem to meet a particular need or requirement.
A major part of this role is creativity and having a core understanding of probability, statistics and
player enjoyment to ensure that games are of the highest quality.
Responsibilities
Assisting teams where necessary in designing, developing and delivering new slot games.
Taking on tasks and projects as directed, communicating progress and delivering results
within deadline.
Maintaining and monitoring previous existing (and future) games developed by the
company.
Working with colleagues to test out new game ideas.
Required Experience
· Three or more (3+) years of experience working with slot game mathematics
· An undergraduate/master’s degree in mathematics or equivalent in other numerate
disciplines – such as Statistics, Engineering or Physics.
· Good knowledge of Combinatorics, Probability Theory and Quantitative Analysis
· Advanced knowledge of the Java programming language, and with Microsoft Excel.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable Experience
· Ability to write in the language of mathematics –with the ability to write and understand
different neologisms, symbols and jargon commonly used in the field.
· Knowledge of and experience of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
· Proficient with the Python programming language and modular design patterns.
· Prior experience of running Monte Carlo simulations - with knowledge of how to interpret
the data and use it to further improve the model.
· An interest in and knowledge of slot games, with an understanding of the current state of
the market.
The ideal candidate will
· Be able to take complex game concepts, and has the ability to build, balance and/or
maintain the relevant mathematical models.
· Be capable of communicating their ideas effectively to others – especially to those with
varying levels of mathematical understanding.
· Clearly annotate, document and explain their work and thought process.
· Be proactive in coming up with ideas and solutions to existing problems.
