About the Opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Sr. VIP Business Development Manager to join our Central Europe Strategic Markets team.
As a Sr. VIP Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our base of VIP clients in the broader Central part of the European Union, with a strong focus on Germany. This role is focused on high networth individuals, family offices and smaller corporate clients, driving our growth through partnerships and key client development in parallel to our institutional team, which on the other hand focuses on larger professional, enterprise and institutional clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
Primary goal: maximize AUM in the region through onboarding and retention of VIP clients
Formulate a revenue strategy and revenue optimisation based on the product offering of OKX in Europe
Work closely with the local executive leadership team to contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company
Lead our partnership work in Europe through identifying the right partners to work with plus executing any partnership negotiations
Manage relationships with high-networth individuals and key clients in Europe ensuring positive customer experience
Build long lasting client relationships to obtain referrals and new sales channels - origination of new prospective clients
Proactive account management, work with operations to inform clients of potential roadblocks - frozen accounts, EDD etc.
Be a brand ambassador, ensuring customers are fully aware of the OKX value proposition.
What We Look For In You
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent years of experience)
Fluency in English and German;
Proven experience in VIP business development within the crypto, finance or trading industry, especially in Germany
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data to drive strategic decisions
Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
Goal-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets
In-depth understanding of financial market dynamics and regulations in the Central European region
Nice to Have
Experience working across time zones and cross-cultural teams
Bonus points if you have previously worked at a crypto exchange!
