Job Description

Job Title- Salesforce Business Analyst (SFDC BA)

Location: Princeton, NJ (Hybrid — Local candidates only)

Position Type: Subcontract (Subcon)

Note: Need only local resource and Agentforce experience is highly desirable.

Experience Requirements

  • 10+ years overall IT experience
  • Minimum 7 years as a Salesforce Business Analyst
  • Hands‑on experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
  • Experience with Experience Cloud or Industry Clouds preferred
  • Agentforce experience highly desirable (AI‑driven agent workflows, productivity enhancements, and next‑best‑action enablement)
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, CRM processes, and business workflows
  • Solid experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with SDLC
  • Strong expertise in requirements gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs/FRDs, and process mapping
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management with a collaborative, consultative approach.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Business Analysis

  • Work directly with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements for Salesforce initiatives
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, JAD sessions to understand business needs
  • Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria
  • Perform gap analysis and help drive business process redesign leveraging Salesforce capabilities
  • Apply Agentforce knowledge to improve agent workflows, service automation, and user engagement

Collaboration & Project Support

  • Partner with Solution Architects and functional leads to ensure solution alignment
  • Collaborate with developers and technical teams to ensure clarity of requirements
  • Assist in backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT preparation, and testing support
  • Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and project success
  • Provide post‑deployment support to ensure smooth adoption and resolution of issues

Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain:
    • BRDs, FRDs
    • User stories and acceptance criteria
    • Process maps
    • Test scripts and UAT documentation
    • Training materials and release notes

Pre‑Sales & Advisory Support

  • Participate in pre‑sales efforts by contributing to requirement scoping, estimations, and presentations when needed
  • Provide consultative guidance to stakeholders on how Salesforce (including Agentforce) can solve business challenges.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be local to Princeton, NJ or within commuting distance (NY/NJ area) due to hybrid onsite needs
  • Agentforce experience is now a strong preference and will be prioritized in evaluation
