Job Title- Salesforce Business Analyst (SFDC BA)
Location: Princeton, NJ (Hybrid — Local candidates only)
Position Type: Subcontract (Subcon)
Note: Need only local resource and Agentforce experience is highly desirable.
Experience Requirements
- 10+ years overall IT experience
- Minimum 7 years as a Salesforce Business Analyst
- Hands‑on experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
- Experience with Experience Cloud or Industry Clouds preferred
- Agentforce experience highly desirable (AI‑driven agent workflows, productivity enhancements, and next‑best‑action enablement)
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, CRM processes, and business workflows
- Solid experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with SDLC
- Strong expertise in requirements gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs/FRDs, and process mapping
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management with a collaborative, consultative approach.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Business Analysis
- Work directly with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements for Salesforce initiatives
- Conduct workshops, interviews, JAD sessions to understand business needs
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria
- Perform gap analysis and help drive business process redesign leveraging Salesforce capabilities
- Apply Agentforce knowledge to improve agent workflows, service automation, and user engagement
Collaboration & Project Support
- Partner with Solution Architects and functional leads to ensure solution alignment
- Collaborate with developers and technical teams to ensure clarity of requirements
- Assist in backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT preparation, and testing support
- Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and project success
- Provide post‑deployment support to ensure smooth adoption and resolution of issues
Documentation
- Prepare and maintain:
- BRDs, FRDs
- User stories and acceptance criteria
- Process maps
- Test scripts and UAT documentation
- Training materials and release notes
Pre‑Sales & Advisory Support
- Participate in pre‑sales efforts by contributing to requirement scoping, estimations, and presentations when needed
- Provide consultative guidance to stakeholders on how Salesforce (including Agentforce) can solve business challenges.
Additional Requirements
- Must be local to Princeton, NJ or within commuting distance (NY/NJ area) due to hybrid onsite needs
- Agentforce experience is now a strong preference and will be prioritized in evaluation
