Role Overview
As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in building scalable, high-performance systems and interfaces that power the Interview Query experience.
You’ll work closely with the founding team to design, develop, and optimize core features that directly impact thousands of users worldwide. This role is perfect for an engineer who enjoys variety — balancing frontend innovation with backend optimization — and thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment where ownership and initiative are highly valued.
Your Impact:
Your work will directly shape how aspiring data professionals learn, practice, and grow their skills. You’ll help Interview Query scale its platform, improve user experience, and deliver new features that make learning data science more intuitive, data-driven, and impactful.
Core Responsibilities
Product Development
- Build and maintain full-stack web applications using TypeScript, Next.js, and React.js on the frontend.
- Design and implement backend systems in Golang or another compiled language (e.g., Java, C#).
- Support and optimize data pipelines in Python, contributing to performance and automation improvements.
- Ensure robust, maintainable, and scalable architecture across all systems.
- Participate in end-to-end product development: ideation, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Experimentation & Optimization
- Collaborate with product and data teams to translate insights into actionable product enhancements.
- (Nice to have) Design and analyze A/B tests to inform product decisions.
Engineering Standards
- Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering best practices and tooling.
Collaboration
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Data) to align on goals and technical solutions.
- Communicate progress clearly and manage deadlines across stakeholders in a remote-first setup.
Must-Haves (Required)
- 3–5 years of professional full-stack development experience (1–2 years for junior variant).
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, React.js, and Next.js (50% frontend).
- Experience developing with Golang or another compiled language (e.g., Java, C#) (50% backend).
- Hands-on experience with Python for automation or data processing.
- Experience managing deadlines and executing autonomously in a remote setup.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver polished, production-ready solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across time zones.
Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)
- Experience working at a tech startup or SaaS organization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization, or cloud infrastructure ( AWS, GCP, etc.).
- Strong UX/UI sensibilities or experience collaborating closely with design teams.
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies and product experimentation.
- Interest in data science, analytics, or educational technology.
