Job Title: Website Designer & Developer
Location: India Remote
Employment Type: Contractual (PST Time zone)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Website Designer & Developer to design, build, and
maintain engaging, responsive websites for our company and clients. The ideal candidate has a strong
eye for aesthetics, UX/UI design, and clean front-end development practices. They should also have a
working knowledge of WordPress, web performance optimization, and cross-platform compatibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design visually appealing, user-friendly websites aligned with brand identity and business goals
• Develop and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress (or other CMS
platforms)
• Create mockups, wireframes, and prototypes as needed
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure cohesive messaging
• Regularly test and update websites to enhance performance and security
• Refine site speed and implement SEO best practices
• Manage hosting environments and domain setups
• Maintain consistency in branding, layout, and design standards
• Troubleshoot issues and bugs on time
Requirements and Skills:
• Proven experience in website design and front-end development
• Website designer – at least 2 years of experience
• Ability in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive frameworks like Bootstrap
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles
• Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred)
• Strong visual design skills and familiarity with Adobe XD, Figma, or similar tools
• Basic SEO knowledge and web performance optimization
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and basic A/B testing tools is a plus
Preferred Experience:
• E-commerce website design/development
• Experience with motion graphics or animation (e.g., Lottie, WEB flow animations)
• Working knowledge of Git or version control
• Experience working in an agency or client-facing environment
