We are seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to amplify the impact of the finance organization across Raptor Maps. This highly visible, individual contributor role partners directly with the CFO on strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and special projects. Approximately 75% of your time will be spent on high-leverage, nonrecurring work, and 25% on recurring financial activities.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, proactive, and execution-oriented. You are equally comfortable querying data, building financial models, preparing board materials, and driving cross-functional projects from start to finish. You thrive in ambiguity, balance detail with big-picture thinking, and communicate with clarity and influence at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Strategic Priorities: Define and execute initiatives in partnership with the CFO that strengthen the company’s financial foundation and long-term growth.
  • Lead High-Impact Projects: Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to develop tools, processes, and automation that accelerate revenue growth, improve customer outcomes, and support operational scale.
  • Support Financial Planning: Contribute to budgeting, rolling forecasting, and long-range planning, ensuring alignment between strategy, execution, and financial outcomes.
  • Build Visibility: Design and implement dashboards that give executives and the board real-time insights into financial and operational KPIs, enabling faster, more informed decisions.
  • Elevate Communications: Prepare materials for the board, investors, lenders and leadership team that distill complex data into clear narratives, highlighting risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in finance, consulting, investment banking, private equity or strategic/operational roles, including at least 2 years in a high-growth or scaling company.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing materials for executives or investors.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and deliver measurable results.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles; hands-on execution experience not required.
  • Proficiency using Excel and SQL (or other coding/business intelligence tools).

$140,000 - $185,000 a year

Compensation at Raptor Maps for eligible roles consists of a base salary, equity, and benefits. The base salary is just one part of the overall compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of stock options. In addition, we offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, life coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, professional development resources, and unlimited PTO.
