Job Description
About Red Rabbit
Red Rabbit is one of the largest Black-owned School Food Management Companies in the country. We work with hundreds of schools, districts, and food banks to uplift communities of color throughout the North East and Mid-Atlantic Regions.
Our professionally trained chefs create menus, source farm fresh ingredients, and cook delicious, thoughtful, and familiar food. School food matters not only because it’s integral to good health, but because what children eat is an essential part of their cultural identity and sense of self.
About the Role
Red Rabbit is entering its next phase of growth, with multi-state expansion underway and deepening partnerships across public school districts and charter networks.
The Director of Marketing will lead the next evolution of our brand, messaging, and sales enablement infrastructure to support that growth. This role ensures that how Red Rabbit shows up in the market reflects the quality, cultural integrity, and operational excellence of the work we deliver in schools every day.
As a member of the senior leadership team, the Director partners closely with Sales, Partnerships, Operations, and Customer Success to ensure our messaging aligns with how schools actually make decisions — including RFP cycles, long procurement timelines, superintendent engagement, and community dynamics.
This role reports to the executive team and works across regions to drive expansion, strengthen retention, and build long-term brand equity. This is a “doing” role with a flexible work from home schedule. Travel will be required to the various regions Red Rabbit serves and to ensure on the ground brand consistency. We encourage links to your work portfolio and cover letters.
