Job Title: Systems Administrator (Remote)

Job Description:

This individual is serving in a Systems Administrator role for the HCM Digital Transformation Project. This individual is responsible for partnering with the HCM Program Management Office (PMO), the Client Leadership, and the State’s Workday HCM Functional Leads to:

  • Strategize and plan for the expansion and enhancement of Workday Onboarding/Offboarding capabilities to be made available to participating state agencies
  • Strategize with agency HR leadership and subject matter experts in state agencies to identify opportunities for expanding the state’s Workday onboarding and offboarding functionality to further leverage Workday’s capabilities and meet organizational needs
  • Document findings, assess findings to the strategy, and recommend approach options to most efficiently and effectively develop and execute a roadmap to deliver broader Workday functionality and capabilities to both the client and to the state agencies participating in Workday
  • Design, develop, document, configure, test, and implement new Workday business processes
  • Partner with the state’s Technical Lead to assist with testing integration enhancements and/or new integrations
  • Design, develop, document, and implement Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) integrations
  • Serve as a backup resource for the state’s Workday Security Lead by supporting the fulfillment of user access requests, creating new security groups, modifying domain access, and segmenting security groups as necessary
  • Work closely with the subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop new or changed business process designs, by performing unit testing and by identifying test requirements, creating test scenarios, and overseeing the execution of the test scenarios independently and as part of integration and end-to-end testing
  • Assist the Workday Delivery Team with post-go-live support and ongoing sustainment as needed

The HCM Digital Solution implementation of Workday HCM – Phase I goes live in early October with Recruitment, Applicant Tracking, Onboarding/Offboarding, Position Description Management and Organizational Charts. This resource will support the implemented solution, along with having responsibility of leading the design, configuration, testing, implementation, and documentation of new forms and business processes. Additionally, this individual with work with the Integration Lead on any new or enhanced integrations to support Workday.
