Want to work with massive datasets and make sure our data tells the right story?

Join Similarwebโ€™s Big Data team in Prague and take ownership of data quality, business logic, and analytics for some of the largest digital datasets in the world.

Youโ€™ll be the person who ensures our data is accurate, meaningful, and actionable โ€” combining analytical thinking, coding, and business understanding to make every data point count

๐Ÿ“Šย What youโ€™ll do

Your work will be split across these key areas:

Data Quality Assurance

  • Act as the final guardrail by checking all data and validating its business logic before it is released.

  • Use existing monitoring tools to assess production data quality, report any issues found, and propose fixes.
  • Provide clear vetting summary reports for data releases.

New Production Deliveries

  • Work on short-term, well-defined projects to create new algorithms and heuristics.
  • Deliver incremental improvements to existing algorithms.
  • Manage data-related tasks such as adapting to changing data sources, retraining models, and preparing data for data science experiments.

Ad-Hoc Requests & Data Issues

  • Serve as the escalation point for complex data questions; you will answer the deep data questions that our support teams cannot.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests about our data and create on-demand analyses.
  • Investigate, understand, and provide fixes for reported data problems, whether found internally or externally.
  • Active collaboration and communication are key in this area.

What you bring

  • 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role

  • Python is a must โ€“ daily hands-on use

  • PySpark experience (or willingness to learn fast โ€” weโ€™ll help)

  • Previous experience working with big data in a cloud environment (AWS, Databricks preferred)

  • Strong analytical mindset and understanding of business logic

  • Attention to detail and sense of ownership for data quality

  • Clear communicator with ability to explain complex topics simply

๐Ÿš€ Why youโ€™ll love it here

  • Work withย massive datasets that power global digital intelligence

  • Combine analytics, coding, and product logic in one role
