Sporty is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist based in South Africa to help us grow our South Africa and Global teams. You’ll be part of our Talent Acquisition function, supporting hiring for Customer Support, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Media, with plenty of opportunities to contribute to wider international recruitment projects.

This is a mid-level position, well-suited to someone who already has hands-on recruitment experience and wants to develop further in a global, fast-paced scale-up environment.

You’ll play a key role in building strong pipelines, managing full recruitment cycles, and delivering a great candidate experience.

What you’ll do

  • Manage recruitment end-to-end, from sourcing and screening to closing offers
  • Build pipelines for Customer Support and commercial roles across South Africa and wider regions
  • Partner with hiring managers and regional leads to understand needs and advise on hiring strategies
  • Write and post engaging job descriptions that attract top local talent
  • Provide a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the process
  • Source directly via LinkedIn and other platforms to identify and engage with candidates
  • Keep ATS pipelines accurate and up to date, providing regular reports on progress
  • Collaborate with the international TA team to share best practices and align on processes

What you’ll bring

  • 2–3+ years’ experience in recruitment (agency or in-house), ideally with exposure to Customer Support and Commercial hiring
  • Proven ability to manage full recruitment cycles independently
  • Strong sourcing skills, with recent experience using LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Comfortable managing multiple roles and competing deadlines
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English
  • Ability to thrive in a remote-first, international environment
  • Knowledge of South African employment laws and recruitment practices is a plus
