Spreetail is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a strategic finance partner to our Merchandising organization. In this critical role, you will serve as a strategic finance partner to merchandising and category leaders, delivering actionable financial insights through analysis, reporting, and modeling. You will support assortment, pricing, and vendor decisions by providing data-driven recommendations, owning budget and forecast processes, and increasing financial visibility into category performance and margin drivers.
How you will achieve success:
- Lead the development and management of financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
- Deliver variance analysis and meaningful insights on actuals versus forecast/budget to inform business decisions.
- Build and maintain KPIs and dashboards that track financial and operational performance across departments.
- Collaborate with department leaders to understand objectives, manage budgets, and provide financial guidance.
- Drive process improvements and reporting enhancements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and the quality of financial insights.
What experience will help you in this role:
- Lead financial planning initiatives using advanced Excel modeling and data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Build trust across cross-functional teams by clearly and transparently communicating complex financial concepts.
- Deliver high-impact results in fast-paced environments by managing competing priorities and executing projects end-to-end.
- Collaborate with business units to drive organizational performance through rigorous analysis and aligned execution.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and data integrity while approaching challenges with initiative and effective time management.
$90,000 - $110,000 a year
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $90,000/year to $110,000/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including geographic market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Spreetail is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
