Will you help take us there?
We are looking for a Human Resources Advisor to join us in Zurich. You will play a dual role across Employee Relations and Recruitment, supporting both the day-to-day employee experience and the attraction of new talent into Ten.
Approximately 50% of your time will focus on providing HR advisory support to managers and employees, ensuring a positive, compliant and high-performing work environment. The remaining 50% will focus on delivering an efficient, high-quality recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers to attract and secure the right talent.
This is a hands-on, operational role suited to someone who enjoys variety and can confidently balance people advisory work with recruitment delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & People Advisory
- First point of contact for employee relations matters
- Advise on performance, disciplinaries, grievances, and absence
- Support fair, consistent, and legally compliant resolutions
- Ensure consistent use of HR policies and procedures
- Promote an inclusive and positive workplace culture
- Support organisational change and consultations
- Maintain accurate employee records
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations
- Advise on policy and process updates
- Manage right-to-work, visas, sponsorships, and relocation
Payroll
- Process payroll accurately and on time
- Resolve HR and payroll discrepancies
- Manage salary, pension, medical, and deduction queries
- Handle payroll changes for starters, movers, and leavers
- Ensure compliance with pay and overtime rules
Talent Acquisition
- Partner with hiring managers on recruitment plans
- Create and publish job adverts
- Source, screen, and interview candidates
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and ATS updates
- Support offers, checks, and talent pipelines
Other
- Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging
- Encourage HR self-service and employee education
- Support ad-hoc people operations activities as required
Essential requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Human Resources Advisory role or remit.
- Knowledge and expertise in local labour law and payroll is essential.
- Prior recruitment experience is essential.
- Working towards a formal HR qualification is mandatory.
- Record of success in resolving employee disputes.
- Knowledge and expertise in managing employment claims escalated to formal bodies.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative and creativity to drive positive change.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional ability to deliver to agreed deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Fluency in English and German (C1/C2).
Preferred requirements:
- A formal qualification in HR is desirable.
- International exposure is desirable.
Guidelines for Hybrid/Home Office :
- Located in Zurich.
- Please note that you will be asked to enter into a hybrid working arrangement - at least 2x a week in the office.
- A secure home office at your confirmed address, free from background noise or other distractions.
- You must meet our minimum internet speeds if you want to work in our hybrid model and this will be checked during the recruitment process and again when you join. We also have a great office that you can work from as an alternative.
