We are looking for a Motion Graphic Designer to take creative ownership, produce polished and engaging video content, and contribute meaningfully to the growth and refinement of our brand’s video output.
Your role involves managing projects end-to-end, collaborating with stakeholders across teams, and leading the visual execution of motion-driven content and other video related content.
The priority for this role is of the utmost importance to the business, marketing, and video team.
You will work closely with the Global Marketing and Video teams.
Key responsibilities:
Conceptualise, design, animate, and edit high-quality video and motion graphics content for a range of platforms (B2B and B2C).
Work closely with the global Creative, Marketing, and Brand teams to execute briefs and produce best-in-class video content.
Monitor & analyse performance of videos and engage with users across multiple platforms to establish a strong-footed digital presence for Ten.
Lead the visual and motion direction on projects, ensuring strong storytelling, brand alignment, and creative cohesion.
Develop creative ideas and propose innovative approaches to video content creation, staying informed on industry trends, tools, and techniques.
Translate scripts, storyboards, and loose concepts into polished animated and edited video outputs.
Manage projects from brief to delivery, including planning, editing, motion design, versioning, and preparing final renders.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners where required, ensuring a smooth production pipeline.
Contribute to integrated marketing campaigns by developing compelling visual content that enhances the overall creative strategy.
Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing, motion graphics, and animation.
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with working knowledge of other Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
Strong skills in creating motion graphics, kinetic typography, animated elements, and graphic integrations.
Highly proficient in video production techniques and equipment.
Experience producing content for digital and social platforms.
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver polished, professional final products.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to take direction, respond constructively to feedback, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Capable of independently managing timelines, deliverables, and client communications where necessary.
Guidelines for Hybrid/Home Office :
- Located in Cape Town.
- Please note that you will be asked to enter into a hybrid working arrangement - at least 2x a week in the office.
- A secure home office at your confirmed address, free from background noise or other distractions.
- You must meet our minimum internet speeds if you want to work in our hybrid model and this will be checked during the recruitment process and again when you join. We also have a great office that you can work from as an alternative.
