JOB PURPOSE
This role is part of our Creative & Media team based in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Our team is a vibrant mix of talents, ranging from Creatives, Influencer Marketers, Brand & Content Strategists to Account Managers, Programmatic and Marketing Automation Consultants. Together, we blend imaginative storytelling and performance-driven strategies with cutting-edge technology to create engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Netflix, Canva, Foot Locker, Philips & Biscoff.
Joining this team means that you will become part of our EMEA SEO team that spans a number of offices across Europe. Our EMEA SEO team, which consists of 40+ specialists, empowers clients to develop and grow their online businesses through organic search in all its shapes and forms. You will go beyond simply executing SEO tasks; together with more experienced consultants, you will function as a strategic advisor to our clients by understanding their needs and proposing hands-on solutions.
This role requires a strong foundation and interest in SEO (and GEO), along with solid execution skills and a results-oriented approach. The ideal candidate effectively applies existing knowledge to support the team in solving practical, less-defined tasks and must be capable of providing clear input to both colleagues and clients. A strong focus on continuous learning and expanding expertise is essential. The candidate is expected to deliver operational work of excellent quality. Furthermore, the ability to communicate clearly and proactively is a core requirement.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- You will be collaborating closely with our experienced consultants and learning all about on page and off page SEO, as well as GEO projects from start to finish.
- Based on data and with the help of multiple tools, you will learn to create short- and long-term SEO and GEO strategies. You’ll also gain hands-on experience with technical website analysis, keyword research, and building SEO content strategies
- While you won’t be expected to present directly to clients right away, you should be comfortable with the idea of presenting your advice and learning how to persuade clients to follow your recommendations over time
- Part of the position involves working on recurring tasks such as keyword research and content briefings that ensure stability for our clients and allow you to continuously develop your SEO skills
- We will provide you with everything you need to develop further as an SEO/GEO Consultant, combining structured training with the opportunity to work for renowned brands and on challenging SEO projects
WHAT YOU BRING
- You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on (digital) marketing
- You bring at least 1 year of hands-on SEO experience, ideally from a digital agency or proven success with your own web projects
- You have an excellent command of both Dutch and English
- You are analytical, detail-oriented, and technically curious, while also being independent and communicative
- You already have some first experience with SEO tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs and/or Semrush
- You don’t shy away from recurring operational SEO tasks (e.g. optimizing titles, meta descriptions, internal linking, fixing crawling errors) and you’re motivated to learn and grow toward more strategic responsibilities
- You approach operational SEO tasks with a positive mindset, using them as a chance to build your expertise and gradually take on more strategic responsibilities
- You enjoy working in an international environment and are motivated to build expertise in SEO, GEO and beyond
