In this hybrid role, you will report to our Head of Executive Recruiting.

You will:

  • Implement and execute effective recruiting strategies to find top-tier senior executives and specialized professionals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Executive clients and decision-makers, understanding their organizational goals to find suitable candidates
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for executive positions, from sourcing to offer acceptance
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
  • Be responsible for candidate screening and interview preparation
  • Represent Waymo externally to leadership talent by becoming an expert in the field
  • Negotiate and close offers
  • Source passive external talent
  • Provide a high-touch and respectful experience for every candidate

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience in executive search, advising clients on talent and hiring, managing the search process including setting and adjusting search strategy, working with internal or external research teams, and supporting applicants through the interview and offer process.
  • 5+ years of experience in hiring executives (e.g. VP+ talent).
  • 3+ years of experience in the technology sector, in a corporate or executive search firm environment.
  • Experience closing candidates at senior levels and negotiating complex compensation packages
  • Recruited across a variety of subject matter including novel areas
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

We prefer:

  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting with AI/ML or cloud technologies.
  • Experience partnering with key stakeholders to deliver high quality search deliverables, including internal executive researchers and external executive search firms.
  • Deep network of technical talent from past recruiting experience

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the role location or, if the role can be performed remote, the specific salary range for your preferred location, during the hiring process.

Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.

Salary Range

$196,000—$248,000 USD
