Role Summary
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Wisedocs, you will play a critical role in driving growth by identifying, engaging, and developing relationships with potential customers. This role is ideal for a highly motivated and personable professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about building strong customer relationships. You will leverage your communication and problem-solving skills to uncover customer needs and generate new business opportunities that expand Wisedocs’ market presence.
Travel Requirement: Periodic travel to the U.S. for events and conferences
What you’ll be doing
Identify untapped markets, industries, and channels to uncover new business opportunities.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through outbound efforts including phone calls, social selling, and email outreach.
Research, connect, and qualify prospective customers via phone, email, social media, networking, and in-person interactions.
Represent Wisedocs at national and U.S.-based conferences, trade shows, and other industry events.
Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment between lead generation efforts and overall sales strategy.
Support additional business development initiatives as assigned.
What experience we need
Minimum of 2 years in business development within a SaaS sales organization.
Industry Knowledge: Background in Independent Medical Examinations (IME), Insurance, or Law is a strong asset.
Familiarity with sales tools such as HubSpot, SalesLoft, and ZoomInfo is preferred.
Comfortable engaging with prospects at in-person events and traveling nationally as required.
Exceptional verbal and written communication, with proven ability to build rapport and foster strong relationships.
Entrepreneurial spirit, proactive problem-solver, and self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
Personable, confident in cold outreach, and enthusiastic about driving growth.

Compensation
The total on-target earnings (OTE) range for this position is $90,000 – 100,000 CAD. This range reflects the full growth journey within the role — from building and developing skills early on, to becoming highly proficient and ultimately achieving excellence. Where an offer lands within the range is based on your experience, skills, and impact, which we assess throughout the hiring process.
