Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a highly data-driven Clinical Operations Manager/Director to optimize our telehealth clinician workforce. This role sits at the intersection of clinical, operations, product, finance, and compliance, with a strong emphasis on analytics, capacity planning, and proactive operational design in a virtual-care environment. You will be responsible for translating data into insight, insight into plans, and plans into action—ensuring telehealth care is delivered efficiently and at scale while anticipating future needs and preventing operational bottlenecks. The ideal candidate brings strong healthcare operations experience, prior exposure to telehealth or digital health startups, advanced comfort with metrics and dashboards, and the ability to influence cross-functional partners through clear, structured communication.
What You’ll Do
Lead clinical workforce capacity and surge planning to ensure the organization can respond effectively to demand variability, growth, and unexpected volume spikes.
Partner with clinical leadership and finance on headcount planning and staffing models, ensuring appropriate coverage to meet current demand and forecasted growth.
Define, build, and maintain clinical operations metrics, dashboards, and reporting to track performance, utilization, productivity, and operational risk.
Continuously monitor operational data to proactively identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and emerging risks, and implement mitigation plans before they impact patient care or clinician experience.
Collaborate cross-functionally with peers in licensing, credentialing, and onboarding to ensure clinicians are fully equipped, enabled, and deployed efficiently to deliver high-quality telehealth care.
Collaborate with clinical colleagues to ensure clinicians are supported in their delivery of high-quality patient-first care
This Role Could Be a Good Fit for You If…
You have experience managing data-driven clinical operations in a telehealth care environment.
You have prior experience working at a telehealth or digital health startup, and are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling organization.
You have owned or partnered on clinician capacity modeling, staffing plans, and utilization forecasting for virtual clinical teams.
You are comfortable defining KPIs, building dashboards, and using operational metrics to guide decision-making and prioritization.
You understand how telehealth clinical operations decisions influence product, finance, compliance, and patient experience, and can navigate those tradeoffs effectively.
You are skilled at communicating complex operational data and recommendations to cross-functional partners and senior leadership.
You are highly organized, analytical, and proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs rather than react to problems.
You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and taking ownership in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
