Key Responsibilities
Lead efforts in modernizing legacy systems and integrating advanced technologies, including cloud services.
Focus on maximizing delivery and application performance, enabling the team to achieve milestones efficiently.
Ensure that new tech stacks contribute positively, either through improved performance or by advancing business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and technical excellence.
Document and communicate infrastructure and design decisions clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.
Must-have Skills
4+ years of iOS native mobile development experience.
Hands-on experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
Familiarity with data structures, system design, and design patterns.
Experience in API design, MVVM, declarative UI, Git, and DevOps.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional environments.
Nice-to-have
AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
Full-stack background with familiarity in cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase, etc.
Passion for news and creativity in introducing new ideas and technologies.
Background in journalism is advantageous.
