We are looking for a Senior C# Developer to join our growing team in Barcelona. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable applications while collaborating with global teams across Romania and the United States. You’ll play a key role in leading development efforts, maintaining legacy systems, and leveraging AWS Cloud infrastructure to deliver innovative solutions aligned with business goals.
This position follows a hybrid work model based in Barcelona, with three (3) days per week in the office and two (2) days working from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, write, build, and deploy high-quality code.
- Analyze business application requirements, identify potential issues, and propose effective solutions.
- Collaborate with an Agile team, taking a leadership role in guiding development efforts and ensuring alignment with company standards.
- Leverage AWS Cloud infrastructure to design scalable and efficient solutions.
- Maintain and improve existing legacy applications.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs across various OPIS codebases.
- Adhere to best practices in software development, including continuous integration and deployment.
Must-have Skills
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Advanced proficiency in C# and the Microsoft .NET Framework.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, preferably SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Experience working within a modern software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Exposure to Cloud and Application Architecture, ideally AWS.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- English level: B2 Advanced or C1.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with microservices and containerized applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- AI Tooling Proficiency: Ability to leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
