Our People & Culture team is looking for a knowledgeable, experienced and pragmatic individual to join us as a Senior People Operations Manager. In this role, you’ll be handling all p eople & payroll matters of our Germany based team members, as well as other jurisdictions (where we have local payroll partners), and as many additional exciting people & culture topics and projects as you like!

What you will do as a Senior People Operations Manager…

  • Employee Lifecycle Management – you will oversee onboarding, performance, engagement, and offboarding with operational excellence.
  • Global HR Compliance – you have a strong understanding of international labor laws and global employment frameworks
  • HRIS & Process Automation– you know HRIS tools inside out (ideally Factorial) and you are experienced in leveraging HRIS features and data to optimize workflows,  improve employee experience, and to support a globally distributed team.
  • Culture & Change Leadership – you foster inclusive culture, professional development, and mental well-being, while driving organizational development in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication – You collaborate and communicate effectively with our leadership and teams to align people strategies with business priorities.

What we are looking for…

  • Five to seven years of experience across the employee lifecycle in the German jurisdiction, including payroll and labour laws — from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Understand global HR compliance, with a strong grasp of international labor laws and the ability to navigate diverse employment frameworks confidently.
  • Champion culture and change by building inclusive environments, supporting development and well-being, and helping teams adapt through transformation.
  • Communicate with impact, collaborating closely with leaders and cross-functional teams to align people strategies with business goals.
  • Fluent German is a must.

Desirable (but not required):

  • The more languages you speak, and the more labour laws you know, the better!
  • Knowledge of Factorial is a big plus — know how to use data and automation to make processes smoother, smarter, and more efficient.
