Job Description

XP Power are seeking a Quality Business Process Owner & Support Analyst to join our SAP implementation team at XP’s new manufacturing site in Perak, Malaysia.

Upon joining, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the deployment of XP’s existing SAP template at the site, acting as the main liaison between global business users and our consultancy partner to ensure business requirements are captured and delivered effectively.

As part of onboarding, the successful candidate will travel to the UK for at least four weeks to participate in initial explore sessions for the SAP implementation, working closely with project stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of XP Power’s processes and objectives.

Following the successful implementation phase and go live (estimated Q3 2026), the successful candidate will transition into a hybrid support analyst and business process owner role, providing ongoing support for SAP QM and related modules, managing support tickets, and driving continuous improvement in quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the implementation of SAP Quality Management (QM) module, including quality inspections, master data, and related processes, acting as the main point of contact between business users and technical consultants

  • Facilitate testing, training, and adoption of new SAP processes, including the creation of training documentation, for local and global users

  • Oversee change management activities, ensuring business requirements are captured, evaluated, and delivered effectively throughout the SAP implementation and beyond

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders including other Business Process Owners, Support Analysts, Consultants, Business Users, and Executive-Level Staff

  • Drive process improvements and support future SAP implementation projects at other global sites (occasional travel may be required)

  • Provide ongoing support, including management of support tickets, to global business users for quality management and related SAP modules (production planning, plant maintenance, material management), ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Strong background in quality processes, ideally within a manufacturing or quality-focused environment

  • Understanding of quality best practices and continuous improvement principles

  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAP QM (Quality Management) functionality

  • Experience with SAP PP (Production Planning) and PM (Plant Maintenance) highly beneficial

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a global project team

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written) with stakeholders at all levels including directors; with ability to present complex problems in a simple manner to a non-technical audience

  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and resolve support tickets in a timely manner, ensuring clear documentation and communication throughout the process

  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve technical and process-related issues for end users

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Experience using IT Helpdesk systems (e.g. Freshservice, Jira Service Management, Zendesk)
