As Our Mobile QA Engineer, You Will:
- Test Planning and Execution. Develop comprehensive test plans covering manual, automated, and performance testing based on an understanding of product requirements and business processes.
- Automated Testing, Performance and Stress Testing. Be able to create and maintain efficient automated testing frameworks, writing test scripts and implementing automated testing processes.
- Defect Management and Communication Collaboration. Accurately record and track defects found during testing. Maintain close communication with cross - functional team members, collaborate to solve problems during testing, and promote the smooth progress of projects.
- Design, develop and maintain automation frameworks and test suites for Android and IOS mobile applications.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and deliver robust, scalable test automation solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and help improve overall test coverage and automation strategy.
This is a fully-remote opportunity based in India. Standard work hours are from 8 am to 5pm IST.
You are likely to succeed if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related majors
- Solid computer foundation and programming skills, familiar with common data structures and algorithms.
- Excellent in one of the following languages: Golang/Java/Python.
- Familiarity with one of the open source components: MySQL/Redis/Message Queue/NoSQL.
- Working knowledge of mobile OS such as Android and IOS.
- Experience with mobile application testing and developing automated test scripts : Android and IOS.
- Proficient in Cross-Platform compatibility testing.
- Experience with mobile automation frameworks: Appium / Espresso/ XCUI Test.
- Experience using tools such as Xcode, Android Studio, Charles Proxy and Firebase for debugging and performance monitoring.
- Experience with identifying non-functional testing requirements for mobile applications.
- Experience working with and setting up CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent logic analysis capabilities, able to abstract and split business logic reasonably.
- Strong ownership, self-motivation, and the ability to deliver independently while also collaborating effectively.
Bonus Points If You:
- Are familiar with professional QA methodologies and tools.
- Have a good understanding of QA-related Python
- Know how to use stress testing tools, have experience for api and backend features performance tests.
- Possess knowledge of SQL, Docker, Linux basics, and Pytest.
