About You and The Role

As a Recruiting Partner, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of the company by identifying, engaging, and hiring the people who will help us transform logistics, healthcare access, and autonomous delivery around the world.

In this role, you will partner closely with our Autonomy, Fullstack, and Marketplace software engineering teams, helping to build the technical talent that powers Zipline’s autonomous flight systems, customer-facing software experiences, and marketplace platform. You’ll work alongside engineering leaders to develop thoughtful hiring strategies, identify exceptional technical talent, and scale teams that are solving some of the most complex software challenges in the industry.

This is not a transactional recruiting role. We are looking for someone who views recruiting as a strategic function and sees themselves as a trusted advisor to executives, hiring managers, and candidates alike. You understand that every hire has an outsized impact on company trajectory, culture, and execution. You thrive in fast-moving environments, bring strong business judgment to hiring decisions, and are energized by the challenge of building exceptional teams in support of an ambitious mission.

You are equally comfortable influencing executive stakeholders, designing hiring strategies for critical business priorities, and personally engaging top talent. What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the strategic recruiting partner for Zipline’s Autonomy, Fullstack, and Marketplace software engineering teams, partnering closely with engineering leaders to develop hiring strategies that align with business priorities, organizational design, and long-term growth.
  • Own the full lifecycle recruiting process from engaging top talent through offer acceptance, driving exceptional candidate experiences while maintaining an uncompromising bar for technical excellence and long-term success.
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing and talent engagement strategies, leveraging deep knowledge of the competitive software engineering talent landscape to identify and attract exceptional candidates who not only have the right technical skills, but who will strengthen their teams and thrive at Zipline.
  • Influence hiring decisions through market insights, talent intelligence, thoughtful calibration, and data-driven recommendations, serving as a trusted advisor to executives and hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
  • Build and cultivate diverse, high-quality talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, ensuring Zipline can continue to scale world-class engineering organizations.
  • Continuously improve hiring outcomes by partnering with interviewers and leaders to strengthen assessment quality, reduce friction in the recruiting process, and elevate hiring practices across the organization.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Zipline’s talent function by sharing best practices, improving recruiting operations, mentoring teammates, and helping raise the bar for recruiting excellence.

What You’ll Bring

  • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments, with a strong track record of hiring exceptional software engineering talent.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with senior engineering leaders to develop and execute hiring strategies for critical technical organizations.
  • Deep understanding of the competitive software engineering talent landscape, with exceptional judgment in identifying candidates who not only have the right technical skills, but who will elevate their teams and thrive at Zipline.
  • Exceptional sourcing, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust, challenge assumptions, and drive alignment across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong business acumen, excellent communication and prioritization skills, and a data-informed approach to decision making.
  • A high degree of ownership, bias for action, and passion for building diverse, high-performing teams while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

What Else You Need to Know

The starting cash range for this role is $135,000 - $180,000. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, working location, and projected impact. The total compensation package for this role may also include: equity compensation; overtime pay; discretionary annual or performance bonuses; sales incentives; benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance; paid time off; and more.
