This page explains how articles on Remote First Jobs are produced, checked, and corrected. The numbers behind them are covered separately in our methodology.

How Articles Are Produced

Articles on this site are drafted with the help of AI tools. We state that plainly: AI-assisted drafting speeds up the writing, but it never decides what gets published. Every article starts from the job-postings corpus this site runs on and from sources we can point to, and no article goes live without a named human approving it.

The Evidence Gate

Before an article is published, it has to pass an evidence gate:

• Claims are cited. If an article states a fact, it links or names the source.
• Claims are checked against their sources, not taken from the draft on trust.
• Numbers from our corpus carry an as_of date and a sample size, so you can see when they were computed and how much data stands behind them — the methodology explains how they are computed.

Named Human Review and Approval

Every article is reviewed and approved by Max, the engineer who built and operates Remote First Jobs and the postings corpus behind it. Articles carry a real person's byline — we do not publish under fake or synthetic author profiles.

Corrections

If we got something wrong, we fix the article and note the correction. To report an error, use the contact page with a link to the article and what you believe is incorrect. Confirmed factual errors are corrected in the article itself.
