BS&A Software, a leader in municipal software solutions, is seeking an Account Manager. Our ideal candidate understands the nuances of local government operations and is passionate about providing exceptional service to our existing customer base. With our company’s dedication to evolving and user-centric software, we require a professional adept in maintaining and deepening client relationships, ensuring successful adoption of our latest Cloud-Based offerings.

Position: Account Manager - Remote

What You’ll Do:

  • Foster enduring relationships with our current clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Guide customers through the migration process from license and maintenance agreements to our new cloud-based software solutions.
  • Ensure customers are deriving value from payment processing functionality in collaboration with payment processing partners
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client transitions and to provide feedback on client needs and experiences
  • Develop tailored strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention
  • Educate and support clients on the full capabilities of our cloud solutions, enhancing their experience and optimizing their operations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, using CRM tools like Salesforce to track progress and identify opportunities for additional support
  • Participate in client meetings, webinars, and workshops to stay connected and address any client concerns or questions
  • Regularly update clients on new features and enhancements to our software, ensuring they leverage the full potential of our solutions
  • Ability to manage stress and anxiety levels in complex and fast paced environments

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience (ideally) in customer facing role, preferably account management or customer success in the software or governmental sector.
  • Proven track record of maintaining and growing client relationships
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based software solutions and their implementation in a municipal context
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders
  • A proactive and empathetic approach to client service
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (20% of the time) for client meetings and presentations
