Job Description:
As an Amazon full-service agency, we offer a wide range of services including Amazon operation, advertising placement, and marketing services. We are seeking an Account Manager with exceptional customer service skills and a deep understanding of the Amazon market to help us expand in the North American market. As an Account Manager, you will be our primary point of contact with our customers, responsible for maintaining customer relationships and understanding and meeting their business needs.
We are looking for someone more than just a typical Account Manager. This role requires a true Amazon advertising expert who can act as a strategic advisor. The ideal candidate isn’t just maintaining relationships and providing updates. We need to be an authority on Amazon advertising, capable of walking clients through strategic decisions and confidently recommending budgets and specific actions to achieve business goals. The person in this role should be able to:
- Provide strategic direction. They need to confidently say, “Here’s what we need to do,” rather than simply asking the client what they want.
- Translate strategy into action and budget. They should be able to justify specific advertising spend by linking it directly to the client’s desired outcomes, using terms like ROI and ROAS.
- Demonstrate deep expertise. This person needs a thorough understanding of the Amazon advertising platform and the wider e-commerce ecosystem to effectively manage campaigns and solve problems.
- Own the client relationship as a subject matter expert. They should be the primary point of contact for all advertising-related questions, acting as a trusted consultant who can guide the client’s advertising strategy from start to finish.
Essentially, we want a player-coach who can manage the client relationship while simultaneously executing and owning the advertising strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring excellent customer service, and increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Understand and master customer business needs, work closely with the internal team to ensure accurate communication and efficient delivery of customer needs.
- Regularly provide business updates and reports, track and manage customer feedback to ensure continuous service improvement.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand our influence in the North American market.
- Develop, coordinate, and often implement marketing strategies across advertising platforms.
- Own company’s best practices (AMC, VoM, VoC, VoS), measure and track the effectiveness/ROI/ROAS of marketing efforts through analytics & reporting - take action from your insights after making recommendations to clients.
- Champion quarterly and annual business reviews for client renewals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience overseeing implementation or managing and executing pay-per-click advertising campaigns on Amazon.
- Experience in an agency environment is highly desirable.
- Have a deep understanding of Amazon operation knowledge and can handle most of the customer’s business problems.
- Proven results in digital strategy and paid advertising within the e-commerce space.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to foster/maintain relationships across multiple businesses and organizations.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to understand complex environments and projects, pay attention to details, and maintain an organized workflow.
- Excellent planning, project and time management, and decision-making skills with the ability to self-manage numerous projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated project management skills and proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
