Team at Voxy

The Finance and Accounting team ensures the company’s financial health through strategic planning and precise accounting practices. They manage cash flow, budgeting, and cost control, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The Accounting Analyst will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, improve processes for efficient month-end closing, and collaborate with teams in Brazil, Chile, and the US to support business growth. They will implement streamlined processes and controls to support other departments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Responsible for day to day accounting functions;
  • Contribute with Revenue recognition, commissions, accruals and prepaid expenses;
  • Work with monthly close including account reconciliations and variance analysis;
  • Assist with financial reporting for all stakeholders;
  • Relationship with external accounting firm;
  • Document and monitor internal controls;Involvement with company budgeting/forecasting

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree in Accounting;
  • Experience with month-end closing routines and bank reconciliations, as well as balance sheet and income statement accounts;
  • Experience with Accounting/reconciliation of payroll, prepaid expenses, withheld taxes, and revenue;
  • Advanced in excel and/or google sheets;
  • Intermediate/Advanced English level.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience with tech companies/startups and/or accounting firms;
  • Experience with accounting for LATAM companies;
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com , Expensify, SalesForce.com;
  • Advanced Spanish is a plus!
