As part of our commitment to the evolution of both our products and position as a leading supplier of innovative solutions to the UK water and drainage infrastructure industry we have a brand-new opportunity for an Assistant Civil Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team. So what’s the mission? Supporting our Senior Civil Lead Engineer, you will be an integral part our dedicated team of Design Engineers who are passionate about the development of our products and service offering. Your main responsibilities will be to provide design and technical support for the Marshalls Water Management product ranges, primarily focussing on our structural product line offering bespoke water management products and our Redi-Rock retaining wall system. You will help to produce drawings, calculations and provide engineering support to a high standard ensuring compliance with Marshalls and wider industry processes and standards.

- Expert knowledge within the technical engineering environment
- Experience working within a civil / structural design and technical environment
- Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction related qualification (degree qualified is preferred)
- Working knowledge of Eurocode 2 design, EN 1992 Part 1-1
- Problem solving skills
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Structural Engineering Software (SCIA software experience would be ideal)
- Ability to communicate and build relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
- Be able to demonstrate flexibility to adapt and respond to change
- Proven ability to motivate yourself to meet project deadlines
