Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Assistant Data Analyst to join our Data team. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our data systems, focusing on data entry, maintenance, and analysis. The Assistant Data Analyst will utilize advanced skills in Google Workspace (particularly Google Sheets, Docs, and Drive) and Power BI to create reports, automate dashboards, and support data-driven decision making across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

● Data Entry and Maintenance: Accurately input and update data into the company’s systems according to established protocols.

● Data Verification: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data entries, adhering to quality standards.

● Preliminary Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing data sets to identify trends and generate reports using Google Sheets and Power BI.

● Report Generation: Support the creation of automated reports and dashboards that clearly present findings.

● Data Security: Follow strict protocols to protect data from unauthorized access or breaches.

● Documentation: Maintain detailed records of data processes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.

● Collaboration: Work under the guidance of the Data Analyst and collaborate with other departments to meet data needs and ensure seamless system integration.

● Troubleshooting: Address basic data-related issues, escalating complex problems to the Data Analyst as necessary.

● Process Improvement: Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of data handling and analysis.

● Training and Support: Provide basic training and support on data entry procedures and database usage as directed by the Data Analyst.

● Experience: 3+ years in data management or analysis, MUST BE IN supporting data driven functions.

● Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets for data manipulation and analysis; strong experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

● Software Proficiency: Skilled in Google Workspace tools for collaboration and documentation.

● Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

● Communication: Excellent communication skills to provide timely updates, collaborate on schedules, and support the wider Data Team.

● Adaptability: Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.

Advanced Data Management Skills: Must be proficient in Google Sheets, Power BI, and automation of reports and dashboards. ● Collaboration Skills: Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to meet data needs and business objectives.

● Process-Oriented: Proven ability to streamline and improve data processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

● Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data handling, with a focus on quality and integrity of information.

● Proactive Learner: Eager to adopt new technologies and methodologies to improve data analysis and reporting processes
