Job description

We Breathe Life Into Data

At Komodo Health, our mission is to reduce the global burden of disease. And we believe that smarter use of data is essential to this mission. That’s why we built the Healthcare Map — the industry’s largest, most complete, precise view of the U.S. healthcare system — by combining de-identified, real-world patient data with innovative algorithms and decades of clinical experience. The Healthcare Map serves as our foundation for a powerful suite of software applications, helping us answer healthcare’s most complex questions for our partners. Across the healthcare ecosystem, we’re helping our clients unlock critical insights to track detailed patient behaviors and treatment patterns, identify gaps in care, address unmet patient needs, and reduce the global burden of disease.

As we pursue these goals, it remains essential to us that we stay grounded in our values: be awesome, seek growth, deliver “wow,” and enjoy the ride. At Komodo, you will be joining a team of ambitious, supportive Dragons with diverse backgrounds but a shared passion to deliver on our mission to reduce the burden of disease — and enjoy the journey along the way.

The Opportunity at Komodo Health:

The Consulting Team is responsible for leveraging business and technical expertise to deliver innovative solutions for customers, enabling them to leverage cutting-edge technologies to improve patient lives.

This role is designed for early-career professionals who are excited to launch a career in consulting, healthcare, and technology. As an Associate Consultant, you’ll be part of a structured program that gives you the tools, mentorship, and hands-on experience needed to grow into a successful client-facing consultant. You’ll work alongside experienced team members, contribute to real-world projects, and gain exposure to both the Salesforce platform and Maven’s life sciences solutions. Our mission is to help you build a strong foundation and accelerate your professional journey in a fast-paced, meaningful industry.

Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have accomplished…

  • Successfully completed the 6-month Associate Consultant Program, gaining foundational skills in consulting, Salesforce, and Mavens’ UI product suite
  • Earned key Salesforce certifications and demonstrated confidence navigating the platform
  • Contributed meaningfully to client projects by supporting solution delivery and customer engagement
  • Built strong working relationships with mentors, team members, and leaders across the business
  • Developed your voice as a consultant—communicating clearly, thinking critically, and showing up with confidence in both internal and client-facing settings

You will accomplish these outcomes through the following responsibilities…

  • Actively participate in a structured onboarding program covering consulting fundamentals, the Salesforce ecosystem, and Komodo’s products
  • Shadow and support client project teams to gain exposure to real-world delivery work and project lifecycles
  • Contribute to project execution through tasks such as requirements gathering, solutions design, system configuration, documentation, data analysis, and end delivery
  • Collaborate closely with senior consultants and mentors to receive guidance, feedback, and support as you build your skills
  • Engage in regular learning sessions led by subject matter experts and business leaders across Mavens
  • Begin to take ownership of defined project components, demonstrating initiative and accountability

What you bring to Komodo Health (required):

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, technology, business, or a related discipline)
  • A genuine interest in healthcare, technology, and solving complex problems through consulting
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to translate technical concepts clearly
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn from others and contribute proactively
  • An analytical approach to problem-solving and a curiosity to dive into new tools, systems, and challenges
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • A growth mindset—you’re adaptable, coachable, and eager to develop professionally

Additional skills and experience we’ll prioritize:

  • Familiarity with the Salesforce platform or other enterprise technology systems
  • Experience with client-facing roles, internships, or team-based project work
  • Exposure to the healthcare or life sciences industry through coursework, research, or professional experience
