Dispel is seeking an Associate Full-Stack Web/API Engineer to join our team of roughly 25 engineers.
You will be in an environment where you can learn a lot about both coding, but also team dynamics, and the process involved with building high quality software. We strive to maintain a professional and creative work environment where your contributions will be valued and recognized.

Stack includes Node, TypeScript, React, NextJS, Express, Storybook, Jest, Vitest, Playwright, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Swagger, ELK, Tanstack Query, tPRC, Zitadel
- Either have finished a technical education or have similar skill as a new grad from alternate sources of experience.
- Comfortable with HTML, CSS, and JS.
- Interested in modern web development landscape, both frontend and backend.
- Fast learner. Degrees and certificates aren’t a determining factor for us. Rather, we value your ability to care about your work and learn fast.
- Communication and team culture are very important at Dispel. You’ll be joining a collaborative team where new ideas and contributions are encouraged. These criteria are soft, but just relax and be genuine.
- Willingness to learn visual design systems.
Extra Credit
- Comfortable with SQL.
- Modern Web tooling knowledge.
- Unit (Jest or Vitest) and integration (Cypress or Playwright) testing of websites and APIs.
- Storybook experience.

Location We are a 100% fully remote company (U.S. only). You are also welcome to use our office in Brooklyn, New York. Salary $69,700 - $82,000. A candidate’s salary is determined by relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
