And now, we are looking for a Backend Engineer who is prepared to contribute to the next chapter of our company’s growth.
The person will join the Core Payments Team.
Team is focused on driving the payment processing engine behind all airSlate products. One of the most critical parts of the platform — ensuring fast, reliable transactions across the entire airSlate ecosystem. Joining this team means working at the heart of the company’s financial infrastructure, where every line of code makes a meaningful impact.
What you’ll be working on:
- Implement new features in the Processing and Taxing services;
- Integrate with new payment gateways and support new payment method types;
- Handle payment processing and dispute workflows;
- Manage taxation logic for financial transactions;
- Develop and maintain shared practices and technical approaches across the Payments Department.
What we expect from you:
- 2+ years of experience in backend development;
- Strong experience with PHP and Symfony/Laravel framework;
- Solid understanding of relational databases: PostgreSQL and MySQL;
- Experience with Docker and containerized development workflow;
- Familiarity with microservice architecture and RESTful APIs;
- English proficiency: Intermediate.
What helps you rock:
- Basic knowledge of Golang is a plus;
- Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes and service orchestration;
- Experience with payment systems and gateways is highly desirable;
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure (optional), ideally AWS;
- Background in fintech, e-commerce, or SaaS domains is a plus.
