Technical Requirements
3+ years of experience in backend development with Python (preferably with FastAPI or Django).
Proven expertise in designing RESTful APIs and working with structured data formats (JSON, XML).
Hands-on experience with digital health products, EHR integrations, and knowledge of the U.S. healthcare ecosystem.
Familiarity with FHIR, Epic on FHIR, and other clinical interoperability standards.
Knowledge of security best practices, monitoring, and version control (Git).
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust backend services using Python.
- Build and manage integrations with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) following standards such as FHIR.
- Optimize cloud-based architecture using AWS Lambda, RDS, S3 for scalability and performance.
- Implement secure, efficient data flows for clinical records and patient interactions.
- Collaborate closely with frontend engineers and product leadership to ensure cohesive system behavior.
- Document APIs, integration flows, and technical decisions with clarity and precision.
